Things I'm currently into. No curation. No order.

Installed bottom on the VPS. Rust-written htop replacement, runs right in the terminal. CPU, RAM, network, per-process, all on one screen. Finally know what is eating memory when an agent goes feral at 2am.

Moved my coding agents off my laptop. They live on a Hetzner box now. Claude Code and Codex run inside tmux, reachable via mosh. I close the lid, walk to the café, reattach from my phone, they are still going. The work stopped being tied to where I am.

Mastra AI. TypeScript-native framework for agent workflows. Graph-based, tool-aware, pairing it with Daytona to get my coding agents off my laptop. Framework's the easy part. The hard part I'm still figuring out is building the right benchmarks and eval suites. Without them it's impossible to build trust, and without trust, you're back to babysitting every run.

Daytona. Ephemeral cloud dev environments, spin up and tear down programmatically. Using it as the runtime for my Mastra agents so they each get a clean sandbox instead of fighting over my local machine.

Jack Dorsey arguing that hierarchy is just an information routing protocol and AI can replace it entirely. Player-coaches over managers, speed over structure, killing middle management. 4,900 bookmarks in hours.

The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect by Roger Williams. Sci-fi novel about a superintelligent AI that takes Asimov's laws to their logical extreme. Cult classic in the AI space, written in 1994 but feels like it could have been written yesterday.

Patrick Winston. How to Speak. Empowerment promise, cycle ideas 3x, verbal punctuation. Best lecture on communication I have seen.

Realization: I probably should not write a single line of code until the agentic system is in place. Design the system first. The code writes itself.

Running 7 projects with 2-3 Claude Code sessions each. Agentic engineering means designing the system, not writing the code.

Watching PiAgents closely. Noticed Anthropic sponsorship signals. This might be the agent framework that sticks.

Switched to Superset. Permanent workspaces, file preview, CI/CD sidebar. Really easy to spin up sessions and organize them.

Git worktrees round 2. Last time they only added work. Testing the assumption: was it a skill issue or a bad abstraction?
